Now when autumn is really starting to take its hold it is easy to start dreaming about warmer places. Earlier this year I went with some friends to a little nice and warm place called Barcelona. It was the first time for me going there and I fell in love with it almost instantaneously!
It is truly a city that has got it all. The culture, the diverse architecture, the friendly people, the sun, the beach, great bars and clubs, oh-my-god the food(!), the bubbly Cava, the historic atmosphere… Well, I could go on.
I took loads of photos during our trip that I kind of had forgotten about. But dreaming about going somewhere warm I came to think of them. So here you are, some sunny postcards from Barcelona for you to look at during this chilly October Wednesday.
We crossed spacious streets, with building resembling palaces, in La Rambla promenade ; the shops were well illuminated and there was movement and life… I did not decide to go to sleep, even though I wished to, so I could rise early and contemplate, in daylight, this city, unknown to me: Barcelona, capital of Catalonia
