Five things to look forward to in 2014

Good things comes to those who wait, right? ….yes, I can buy that, even though I gave impatience a face! This is why I am listing five things to look forward to in 2014 that you do need to wait for but only a few weeks, good ay!?

1. House of Cards season 2

Wow, I am soo looking forward to this! Can’t wait to get dragged down with the Underwoods to new lows in their persuit towards power in the White House. One of the best series I ever watched, just brilliant! Premiers valentines day (14 February) with all episodes at once – thank you web tv!

2. Inside Llewyn Davies

Feels like a long time ago when Therese gave you a little teaser of this film, but now it’s finally here! The Coen brothers tells a story about a folk musician in the early 60ies and his struggle towards a break through. Premiers 7 February (USA), Sweden (21 February)

3. Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel

A new Wes Anderson film…do I need to say anything else? No I didn’t think so…28 February is the date folks!

4. True Detective

HBO’s new serie True Detective, starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson premieres in 12 January 2014. It’s about two Louisiana State Police Detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart who’s brought in to revisit a homicide case they worked in 1995. It looks rather good and it is set in the American south. Could be a goodie!

5. Tate Modern London

The Tate never disappoints you, you can spend hours walking around in amazement! Good news, this year you can be amazed by Paul Klee (exhibition ends 9 March) and Henri Matisse (17 April – 7 September). So just book yourself a weekend in London this year…or two!
