Vegan Oreo CakePops

Cakepops has never been more popular, places like pinterest, youtube channels and food blogs all over the world are raving about them so we thought we should too.


Martina, our Italian food contributor, specializing in vegan cousine (remember her millefoglia? It was a huge success) has come up with this easy “no bake” recipe that will make your mouth melt… so be careful 😉



What you will need is:

Oreo cookies (which now are vegan even in Italy)
Vegan Nutella
Dark chocolate
A little bit of seed oil

First of all take your oreo cookies and blend them until you have a smooth cream.





Then add some Nutella, just enough to get a good consistency that allows
you to roll small chocolate “balls”.






Put the balls in the fridge and let them cool down.







In the meantime melt your dark chocolate in a water bath and add a spoon of seed oil. I used chocolate drops because they melt quicker.





Take out the balls out of the fridge and prepare as many lollipop sticks as you need.
Dip the sticks into the melted chocolate and then stick them in the oreo balls, put them in the fridge for about 5 minutes.
To help you keep the cakepops in place use a muffin cup or similar. When the cakepops are well cooled, dip them in the melted chocolate. And remember if you want to sprinkle your pops, you will have to do it quickly before the chocolate hardens.
