Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about this week’s issue of ‘Music Weekly’. It is just a little fashionably late!
Jacqueline Netteberg is not just a great musician, she also happen to be my sister.
I thought I would feature her on the blog this week not only because of these facts, but also because she is a struggling musician who deserves to get some extra attention!
Since all I can remember Jacqueline has been singing and writing songs. After a move to Los Angeles for music studies she really developed and grew as a singer and musician. She since then has travelled between Sweden and LA to record and play her music. She recently started to play live with a full 4-piece band and this really added something extra to the live sessions and to her sound as a whole. Whilst before she used to play together with one guitarist only.

Her music is very energetic with emphasis on lyrics and beautiful melodies. Inspired by her child-hood heroes like Janis Joplin, the Doors, Neil Young and Ani DeFranco.

Jacqueline recently played at the ‘Krokstrandsfestivalen’ in Sweden and her next gig will be at ‘Kulturkalaset’ in Gothenburg.
