PetiteCurie are really psyched about the Way out West festival that takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden on the 9th-11th of August! We can hardly wait! There are quite a few bands that we especially look forward to seeing live. Best Coast is one of them so we thought we’d feature them in this week’s ‘Music Weekly’.
“Inspired by life and love and everything else”
Best Coast is a duo of Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno. They formed in 2009 and are from Los Angeles California. Their sound is very much born from 60′s surf rock and often has a nice garage and lo-fi-twist to it.
They released their debut album ‘Crazy for You’ in July 2010. And no one less than Drew Barrymore directed the music video for their single ‘Our Deal’ in August last year.
