The swedish fashion and department store H&M has during the past couple of years made some very interesting and very successful collaborations with some famous and great designers. It started with Karl Lagerfeldt and then followed with cheap-chic collections from Stella McCartney, Comme des Garcons, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel and most recently, Lanvin. Up next is the italian label Marni.
The founder Consuelo Castiglioni spoke to Vouge magazine about the collection;
“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.”
Friend and artist Amanda Copa has created this illustration exclusively for petiteCurie inspired by the new Marni collection for H&M.
The collection will be available in 260 different H&M stores and online tomorrow on the 8th of March.
